As a church school our Religious Education curriculum is at the heart of everything we do and plays an integral role in defining the school’s distinctive Christian character. Our children are encouraged to become open minded, tolerant, respectful citizens and this is promoted through our religious education curriculum. Over the 7 years your child will spend with us at St Chad’s they will learn about a wide range of different faiths including: Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism.

Our Christianity units are taught through a scheme called Understanding Christianity. For more information regarding the scheme you may wish to visit the website: www.understandingchristianity.org.uk. Our other faith units are taught using supporting materials from the Lichfield Diocese Board of Education.

If you would like further information about our Religious Education curriculum, then please see our RE policy which is available on the website under School -> Policies.
